In Greece, Athens we will be sending people to help and at the same time enjoy tourist spots in Greece. Greece is located at the southeast end of Europe and it is the southernmost country of the Balkan Peninsula.  Its neighboring countries are Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania and Turkey.The weather in Greece can go to an extreme high in certain times of the year. The best times to go to Greece is early summer or autumn to avoid high temperatures. The trade of balance for the U.S. Dollars is $1.00 to 0.88 Euros in Europe.

 

Greece is full of beautiful beaches and other amazing tourist spots. While we sent our volunteers they will have the chance to go to beautiful beaches and lakes. Greece is full of so much cultural background that they have a one in a museum that the volunteers will be able to visit. Also because Greece has many mountains our volunteers will also be able to ski there. That is why they should pack swimwear and also some sweaters and scarfs.

Hope is going to help Greece with the help of the company "The smile of the child" where their focus is helping children in danger. We will help by establishing a helpline for the children, a national center for missing or exploited children. We will make community homes, for unaccompanied children and  children in danger. Hope will also help provide medicine programs, social and psychological support, and more.

 

A second program that we will provide help with is ELEPAP which provide rehabilitation for the disabled and support the development of children with physical disabilities and developmental difficulties and at the same time provides support to their families.
