Thailand is located in Southeast Asia and has a population of 68.71 million people. It is known for its tropical characteristics such as its weather and its beaches, and for its historic and religious sites such as ancient ruins, ornate temples, and figures of Buddha. The currency used in Thailand is the Thai Baht, which is worth 0.03 USD Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, has a population of 8.281 million, is an urban cityscape filled with skyscrapers and a network of canals, as well as a royal district.

Thailand is so well known for its gorgeous attractions, places are filled with historic and religious reverence. In Bangkok, there is the Khaosan Road, which is filled with reasonably priced hotel rooms, cheap food vendors, and a travel refuge for many looking for a cheap way to explore. Siam Park City amusement park is the largest waterpark in Asia. It is an ideal place for adults and youth alike, and has options for everyone, including roller coasters, lagoons, health spa ponds, or leisure areas by the pool. Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World has a variety of ocean experiences, including glass bottom boats, up close interactions with starfish and penguins, intimate experiences with sharks and more.

Chiang Mai has multiple attractions in its location. The Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a temple said to have been built in 1383, and has multiple legends surrounding its creation. It was expanded to look more extravagant and many more holy shrines were added. Views of Chiang Mai can be seen from the temple. The Bhubing Palace is another monumental location. It was built in 1961 to accommodate the royal family, and for receiving guests such as foreign dignitaries. There are vast mountains and beautiful rose gardens that are their own attraction in itself (Suan Suwaree). Wat Umong is a 700 year old Buddhist temple, and is the epitome of peace, with its tranquil setting and small open zoo. There are “talking trees” with words of wisdom and intricate tunnels within the temple. Wiang Kum Kam is a historical settlement and archaeological site. It was abandoned more than 700 years ago, and now stands as one of the oldest structures in the country. The Royal Park Rajapruek is an international horticultural exhibition, filled with beautiful gardens from multiple countries. Wat Phra That Doi Kham is known as the Temple of the Golden Mountains, on a tranquil setting with breathtaking views, and a grand statues.
