One of our locations in the United States is Orlando, Florida. This is a location we will be focusing on because of the disasters that have occurred there. As a result of the hurricanes that have hit Florida they are in dire need of reconstruction and as well as other types of help. Florida is a very popular tourist site where there are many places to go while not volunteering. The weather in Florida is warm all year around because of being located by the equator, this is a reason why its hot and also a reason why the people we sent to volunteer there should take light clothes to tolerate the heat. Packing a lot swimsuits is also a good idea for those who want to to the beautiful beaches there as well as water parks and pools .The cost of living there is around average so fun activities won’t be a problem to spend money over there.

 

There are many places to visit while in Orlando, Florida. One of our recommended locations to visit is DisneyWorld. Orlando is full of amusement parks like Legoland, Universal, Nickelodeon and Seaworld all these options let our volunteers go wherever they feel like going. There are many options to go elsewhere also so our volunteers could always have fun and never get bored.

 

The way we are going to help orlando is by one volunteering in Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando which is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of low-income, hard-working families by helping them achieve the American dream of owning their own home. To bring together families in need and volunteers from all walks of life - in partnership with community resources - to enhance lives by building homes, strengthening neighborhoods and improving the Greater Orlando community. This will allow us to to send volunteers who want to build homes for those who got impacted by the disasters.

Another way we are going to help is with Junior Achievement of Florida which inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. We help students make the connection between what they learn in school and what they will need to know for the future. We want every student to be equipped with the right tools to take advantage of the abundant opportunities in this country and worldwide.
